here is da synopsis..

Yakitate!! Japan is mainly about baking bread.The main character,Azuma Kazuma,a talented young baker,who is also gifted with the "solar hands".Solar hands are hands that are always warm.With the solar hands,when baking bread,it makes the yeast ferment faster and makes the bread a lot more delicious than the bread baked without the solar hands.

Azuma-san's only goal is to bake the first Ja-Pan.Ja-Pan is the name for the bread baked by the Japanese hands.After he has finished high school,he goes to Tokyo to work at Pantasia,a bread baking company,with many other bakeries under the same name all over Tokyo.However,to work at Pantasia you must pass the Pantasia Entrance Examination.This is were his real baking adventures begins,and where he'll meet many new friends...........
